Born last in a large family of musician's & music lovers, Ryan started
playing guitar at around age 10. Band rehearsal's were a common thing
around the house as a child & by age 14, Ryan had joined his father's
band as lead guitar player. His guitar influences include guitar greats
such as Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Randy Rhodes & Stevie Ray Vaughn
and it shows in Ryan’s versatility & vast song knowledge and playing
ability.
Playing in Classic Rock show bands, such as Eddie & The Cruiser's to
southern rock-blues bands like Route 66, Ryan honed his skills on
guitar and made him a well rounded, well versed guitar player. Ryan is
no virgin to the band/touring scene as the bands he played in played all
around Wisconsin & nearby states with regular stops at Summerfest,
State Fair, The Brat Stop & The Hyatt Regency every N.Y.E.
Prior to a recent stint with Liquid Crush, Ryan co-founded Prowler with
the idea of playing powerful, popular music that everyone loved but
other bands did not play, that set the grounds in forming a template
that today is known as Altered State!!!
Playing mostly Fender gear, Custom & Limited Edition Stratocasters, as
well as Ovation 6 & 12 string acoustics, Ryan brings a virtual guitar
arsenal to every Altered State show. Come and take a peak at his
collection at an upcoming show!!!
